General Advice and Information

Edinburgh Castle Esplanade is an outdoor venue, so please come appropriately dressed in warm and waterproof clothing (as required) and wear sturdy footwear to negotiate the steep entrance and tiered seating. Concerts will go ahead in the event of inclement weather, unless is it deemed unsafe to do so. Seating high in the grandstands is not recommended for those who suffer from vertigo or those with breathing difficulties or heart complaints.
