This beautifully preserved 12th century chapel, which is available for small, intimate wedding ceremonies, is the oldest building not only in the castle but also in Edinburgh. It was built by King David I as a private chapel for the royal family and dedicated to his mother, Margaret, who died in the castle in 1093.
The cobbled area outside St Margaret's Chapel affords spectacular panoramic views across the city and far beyond.
Guests can enjoy drinks and canapés after the ceremony in the adjacent Argyle Tower.
