Queen Anne Restaurant - Haggis, Neeps & Tatties
Nestled at the top of Crown Square at the peak of the Castle, the Queen Anne Restaurant offers a comfortable and elegant space to dine.  Why not unwind after visiting the Castle in this waiter-service restaurant?

The retaurant offers traditional Scottish fayre, prepared and produced from the freshest local ingredients in our Castle kitchens.  Our menu ranges from light bites such as soup and sandwiches to more hearty meal options, including our wonderful haggis, neeps and tatties - always recommended with a wee dram!
Queen Anne Restaurant - Sandwich
The Queen Anne Restaurant is fully licensed and serves a selection of beers, wines and spirits from around the world, including Hendricks Gin, which is exclusively distilled in Scotland, and a full range of Scottish Whisky. Fairly traded coffee and delicious home-baking is available all day as well as an extensive range of whole leaf teas and infusions, served in individual teapots.

Main meals are available from 11:30- 15:00, afternoon tea is on the menu from 14:30- 16:00.  We fully cater for vegetarians and other dietary requirements.  High chairs and baby changing facilities are available in the Queen Anne Restaurant.

Our regal Queen Anne Room is available for both private and corporate events.

Redcoat Café

Redcoat Cafe - Tea & Scone
Inspired by the distinctive uniform of the castle guard, the Redcoat Café offers something for everybody.  Take the time to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views over the City of Edinburgh and across the Firth of Forth to the Kingdom of Fife.

Whether you want a meal or a light snack our chefs have created a seasonal menu including a deli lunch, soup, or succulent roasts, with fresh vegetables. If you fancy food on the go - the Redcoat offers a ‘grab and go’ section, where you will find seeded baguettes, bloomer sandwiches and freshly made pasta and leaf salads.  For children there is an Edinburgh Castle kids box, which can be filled with a wide variety of healthy foods and fun treats.

With teas and coffees and a selection of Castle baked delights from our cake counter, you will be spoilt for choice. A selection of soft drinks, ice creams and confectionary is also available.
Redcoat Cafe - Cake
The Redcoat Café is fully licensed and offers a selection of alcoholic beverages including Deuchers,the only beer brewed in Edinburgh.

Hot food is available from 11:30 - 15:00 .  We fully cater for vegetarians and other dietary requirements. High chairs and baby changing facilities are available in the Redcoat Café.

Our stylish Jacobite Room is available for both private and corporate events.
