See a model of a 17th century Scottish Dragoon circa 1680. This room also displays a replica of the Ferguson Rifle used by the British during the American War of Independence.


A room covering the First and Second World Wars includes a display of Sir Ranulph Fiennes the explorer and former member of the Regiment.

This room shows many items from The Battle of Waterloo including the Eagle and Standard captured by Sergeant Ewart. Also displayed is a magnificent plumed helmet of the 6th Dragoon Guards and the famous portrait by Serov of His Imperial Majesty Nicholas II, Tsar of All the Russians as Colonel of The Regiment.

It is a story without end as the regiment continues to fight in the wars of today proud in their tradition and of their motto "Second to None".
